Langhope Rig Wind Farm: Blade Delivery Update, 16th January 2015

..... we can now confirm that the new blades for the Langhope Rig wind turbines are on their way to Grangemouth and are scheduled for delivery to the site over a period of roughly 8 weeks starting in early February. Planned delivery dates will be confirmed and communicated in due course, however if there are any dates that would be problematic due to community events / other local plans please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will do our best to avoid this day.

In advance of the blade deliveries commencing, a crane will be delivered to the site in order to lift and attach the blades once they arrive at Langhope. The crane is expected to be delivered on Saturday 17th / Sunday 18th January 2015 although this subject to weather and travel conditions on the day. The crane will be escorted to the site by our contractors and is not expected to cause any delays on the main roads, however users of the B711 should be aware that a large vehicle may be using the road during that time.

If you have any questions about the blade deliveries or the crane, or if you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me directly.
