Blade Delivery Update - October 2014
All tower components have now been delivered to the Langhope Rig site, the only remaining deliveries to the site are the blades for each of the 10 turbines.
Following a detailed inspection by our quality control team, the blades that have been assigned for the project by our turbine contractor have not met our high standards and and we have been working closely with our turbine contractor to order new blades as a replacement. As a result of this, there will be no further deliveries to the site in October. We are currently awaiting feedback on when the new blades are expected to be delivered to the site and details will be shared with local residents once confirmed.
SSE Renewables would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to local people for the delay in the blade deliveries, and we would like to thank you again for your patience while the construction of the Langhope Rig Wind Farm continues.
