The Roberton Show - Full Details Released

Summer seems to be in full swing in the Borthwick Water Valley, which can mean only one thing : the first Saturday in September isn't that far away and that heralds "The Roberton Show", at Scaurend Haugh. Roberton.

It's looking like it's going to be a great show, with entertainment ranging from the "Young Handler Compeition" to music from the Hawick Scout Band. There's no better time to start preparing your "flower arrangement in a high heel shoe" or to start knitting that "Baby Matinee Coat". For full details of the many competitions that can be entered, please CLICK HERE to download the Roberton Show Guide for 2014.

Roberton Show Society

On behalf of Roberton Show Society, I would like to thank all those who made the show possible. The many helpers and committee who worked tirelessly before, during and after the show, the judges on the day, and all the exhibitors, you all know who you are, there are too many of you to mention individually. I would also like to thank all who gave generously to the raffle, tombola and sales table, all the sponsors and patrons of the show, also the Scout Pipe Band for their music, the Fire Brigade for their demonstration, the Bike Track which attracted a lot of interest and all who came for the afternoon, we had an excellent day, and hope Roberton Show will be on the calendar for many years to come.

Thank you all once again.

Roberton Show - September 7th - Scaurend Haugh

Once again I have taken on the job of organising the Raffle and Tombola. We are hoping for a dry sunny day for our local Roberton Show.   The Show has been very successful in the past and we hope it will continue.  With the help of a small committee we will try and do our best to keep it up and running for many more years.

We have made up some wonderful hampers for the raffle with the very kind and generous donations from the people of the valley. I hope you will be able to help again this year by donating grocery items and bottles

We also need volunteers to help with all the events on the day. Please contact me either at Highchesters Farm or telephone 01450 373474.
